Celebrate Microvolunteering Day

You want to get involved and give back to the community, but can’t fit another big commitment into your busy schedule? Then microvolunteering might just be the thing.

Microvolunteering is a small, bite-sized task or project, that is quick and easy to perform. Best of all there’s a range of things you could do online, in as little as 30 minutes. Donating processing time on your computer, signing an online petition, or promoting a charity on social media are all examples of microvolunteering that you could do today.

Michael Johnson has been a local resident for over 20 years and is a top-producing Realtor® in the Savannah Area. First time home buyers and military relocation have been a strong focus in his business. He is dedicated to helping and teaching his clients through the entire process, whether it is their first home or their forever home. Because of this dedication to his clients, he has been honored to be a part of the Savannah Area Realtors Distinguished Sales Society since 2015. He truly believes that it’s all about the client and finding the Win-Win for them. This is where he finds his motivation and commitment. Before entering real estate, Michael earned a Culinary Arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu and worked in the food and beverage industry for over 13 years. The demands of this industry required anticipating the needs and wants of others while highlighting the differences that every situation presents. With this knowledge, Michael believes that it only matters what will make the client happy. He will settle for no less than delivering 100% satisfaction. After working for and helping candidates get elected to local, state, and national office, Michael realized that it was his time to serve. He was honored to be elected to the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System to represent the Seventh District (Berwick Plantation, Southbridge, Bloomindale, and Pooler) in 2016. This gives his clients inside knowledge on the school system in Chatham County and how taxes are used for the citizens of Chatham. While campaigning and now serving in this capacity, a Win-Win for everyone requires compromises and negotiations no matter where each side starts. He is able to apply his personal experiences with negotiations to assist his clients through this sometimes stressful process to make sure that a Win-Win solution is found. Family is very important to Michael. He is an only child who was raised by a single mother. He married his wife, Allison, in 2009 right here in Savannah. After becoming partners in life, they became business partners and formed The Johnson Team with Keller Williams Realty Coastal Area Partners. They have a son who reminds him every day that life is about serving others. Michael knows what service means and he is ready to serve you!
